Do Good Hair

A personal thought

"Just as plants draw nourishment from their roots in the soil, I've found life-enhancement through cultivating the roots of my ancestral tree. DNA ancestry testing revealed that I shared genetic lineage with people living in Sierra Leone and Senegal. It has sparked me to learn about the culture of these West African nations and reinforced a desire to know more about my own family history in America. My patients may now embark upon their own self discovery exploration informed by ancestry testing and genealogy support through Do Good H.A.I.R. therapy."

My ancestral mask is Temne from Sierra Leone. My leaf neck dressing is Neku, a Sierra Leone Mende concept, representing the encapsulation of beauty in nature. My family photo shows my great-great grandparents reinterpreted as natural hair.
